MMSC11-Lil Sailor Boy

OK . . . so it's been a while . . . without a long, drawn out explanation, I will start with a new blog look and a fresh start, beginning with the latest sketch for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge! :) Please check it out - there is so much going on there, you won't be disappointed! A HUGE "shout out" goes to Priscilla and the rest of the design team for all of their hard work!!! Bravo ladies!

My submission for this week is entitled "Lil Sailor Boy", it features this adorable paper tole image, meticulously hand-cut and layered over 4x. He's just so darn cute . . . it was certainly a labor of love. Glossy accents accentuate his eyes, glass bottle & puppy's nose.

The rest of the card uses these products:

Stamps & Ink: Hero Arts, Tsukineko Brilliance-Graphite Black
Papers: K & Co., DCWV, Best Occasions, Bazzill Dotted Swiss
Embellishments: Rhinestone brads, glitter glue, twine, Jolee's jewels w/ Swarovski elements, blue cotton thread
Tools: sewing machine, MS border punch, decorative scissors

See what the rest of the design team has created to inspire you!

Let me know what you think of the new look. . .
Keep Smiling!

  4. Hi Sonya, Welcome back!! We missed you and your fab. creations. I love this adorable sailor boy card. I am a bit partial to sailors ;) Hubby and oldest son both sailors. Tons of popped images on this card and so perfectly cut. You are the master at details.

p.s. my images didn't enlarge because there was a hyperlink stuck in my html that needed to be removed. I don't know if that is the same problem that you had or not.

    Hugs,
    Carolyn
